We believe that sending real greeting cards is best way to build strong business relationships. This can be done over a period of time, like 6 months to a year. It is best to to keep in touch without all the sales hype and when you send several cards a year, you will stay on top of the recipients mind. We do this using the 80/20 rule (80% general information, birthdays etc. and 20% sales).
Anniversaries: There is more than just one type of anniversary, that's cause for sending a card. Recognizing friends, family members, clients and employee anniversaries will help build personal and business relationships.
Here's are three types:
1. Wedding Anniversary (1 year, 5, 10 etc.)
2. Employment Anniversary (1 year, 5, 10 etc.)
3. New Home purchase Anniversary (1 year, 2, 3 - keep in touch, especially if you like referrals)
When you send an anniversary card to friends and family, it shows that you are thinking of them and they will appreciate you for it. It will make them feel good. I use a system that also allows me to send gifts and gift cards with the cards. I get a nice thank you for each one I send. It really is a feel good action that anyone can do.
